Golla, The Baby

Hey guys! It's my first time writing a blog. To be honest, I don’t know whether the starting is proper or not; I'm just doing what Rustyn would do! Well I'm pretty sure that we all know the internet-nephew, Rustyn. Yeah I get baby fever too often.

Okay let’s get to the point. Let me tell you guys about Aynaz. She is the cutest, most adorable girl y’all have ever seen. Her full name is Musarrat Monira Aynaz. Her dad chose this name. Um if you want I can bring her at campus to meet you guys someday.

She’s my eldest sister’s daughter, my niece. I’m her “choto khala”. Her birthday is on 20th July. We wanted to celebrate her first birthday throwing a grand party but unfortunately that was the very first day of curfew so we had to cancel all the bookings and invitations. Still we dolled her up, decorated the room and took some pictures together.

I saw her first time when she was 9 hours old; she was so fragile that I was constantly scared of hurting her somehow. Then after two nights stay at hospital they came back home. She was wrapped in a sea green burrito wrap and when she started crying! Oh My Gosh! I completely lost myself, I had no idea how to deal with her. I started to call for my sister immediately.

Now Aynaz calls me “mum mum”. There’s not a single job left of a babysitter that I didn’t do. She’s so adorable. Now she’s thirteen and a half months old; she can walk, run softly, grab things and of course she puts everything in her mouth duh! She giggles so loud when she plays peek-a-boo Masha’Allah. She loves hide-n-seek too.

Oh wait! About the title? My dad started calling his only grandchild “Golla” because she was really a golla (chubby). Then when she was 10 months old she suffered from severe fever; since then she started to get leaner. At present, she’s a 2’9” tall girl. We made golla, a bella (shaved head) 2 times till now. As we know, body temperature of a child stays comparatively higher and she suffered from pneumonia earlier so in no way we can take risk; she may catch a cold. Here is a photo of her while she was recovering from fever.

She has become the greatest source of joy for all of us in our family. I never knew I’ll love someone so unconditionally. Here I am! If you ask about my love of my life, you already know! My first child will never know that he’s not my first child and I didn’t know I can love another individual this deep before Aynaz came into my life.
